To Do by Transit this Weekend: Maker Faire
The Maker Faire will be at the San Mateo Event Center this weekend. Adam Savage, of Mythbusters fame, will be there. The Event Center is accessible from the Hillsdale CalTrain station--walk north past the former racetrack site--so not right at the station. You could also take a SamTrans bus on El Camino and get of at 25th Ave.

And for those who bike, tickets will be available for sale at the bike valet parking area at a $5 discount :-)
I'll be at Makers Faire on Saturday, leading a ride from downtown San JOse.
So you can in fact buy tickets at the door then?
All I know is you can buy tickets at the bike parking.
I know when I've bought from the door in the past the line was about a mile long, so advanced purchase recommended regardless
